It is very smart stuff, and that I can’t think of any email marketing product offering this kind of tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this kind of functionality you normally need to look at dedicated — and more expensive — CRM products like Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
However, it’s not all fantastic news about the CRM front there are some big things missing out of Getresponse’s CRM attribute collection.
The most glaring omission is e mail activity tracking. From a usability standpoint this is very clunky and time consuming. You should just have the ability to add a deal directly to a pipeline and then input the contact information of your lead or client at that point.
So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is somewhat half-baked. But that said, it’s a new feature and the things it could perform on the automation aspect is remarkable.
