Landing page Builder
Online advertising campaigns which use landing pages will typically generate far more leads if, rather than simply directing people to some (cluttered!) Website, they tip users to attractive’squeeze pages’ comprising clear information and a tidy, well-designed data capture form.

Initially I was not that impressed with the Getresponse CRM tool since you could only use it to carry out rather basic jobs: you could create sales pipelines, add contacts to these and track activity (emails, phone calls etc.) with those contacts manually.
But lately Getresponse have upped their game a bit on this front. The CRM is now integrated with all of Getresponse’s email marketing functionality and you can add users to a CRM pipeline based on their action (form completions, email opens, purchases etc.) or activate autoresponders based on the accession of a new contact to a pipeline phase.
An example of how you could use this functionality would be as follows:
You can add a contact to a particular point on a revenue pipeline based on the page of your site they completed a form on;
you can then send them a automated email tailored to this pipeline stage a couple of days afterwards;
and dependent on the actions they took with regard to that email (clicking on a particular link etc) you can automatically move them onto another stage of the pipeline and invite invite them to a webinar.
It is very clever stuff, and I can not think of any similar email advertising product offering such a tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this type of functionality you normally need to look at committed — and more costly — CRM products like Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
However, it’s not all fantastic news about the CRM front there are a few big things missing out of Getresponse’s CRM attribute set.
The most glaring omission is e mail activity monitoring. Other CRM packages allow you to bcc a dropbox email address any time you send an email to a lead or customer; doing this keeps a list of this communication in the contact’s history. There’s currently no way of doing so with all the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an simple way to send one-to-one emails to prospects or clients.
And strangely, if you click on a contact within a bargain pipeline, you can’t see their contact activity — i.e., the activities they have taken (open, clicks etc.) in regards to previous communications that you have sent to your leads aren’t displayed. To observe this, you have to go out of the CRM part of Getresponse, search for your contact in the contacts section and then click in their details. But guess what? Doing this doesn’t display their history.
Task management is non-existent too: unlike dedicated CRM tools, there is no way to assign tasks to other group members.
Eventually, adding contacts into your pipeline stage is tough. You have to add contacts to a list , then go to the CRM pipeline, include a bargain and hunt your lists to receive the contact you just added. From a usability point of view this is extremely clunky and time consuming. You should just have the ability to put in a deal right to a pipeline and then enter the contact details of your guide or client at that point.
So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is a bit half-baked. But that said, it’s a new feature and the things it could perform on the automation side is remarkable. I’m optimistic that this feature becomes developed over time because done right, it is possibly a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Getresponse recently introduced the capability to sponsor webinars on the platform.
Given that webinars are usually used as a lead-generation strategy, the notion of getting your email database along with your webinar tool under the same roof is extremely appealing.
The pricing is also very competitive too compared to based webinar solutions. For example, among the leading webinar services, Gotowebinar, fees $199 per month to host webinars with up to 500 attendees; you can actually do the same (and a whole lot more) with Getresponse for $165 (as long as your list size is under 25,000).
With respect to attendee limits, the Getresponse’Guru’ program permits you to sponsor a webinar with around 100 participants; the’Max’ program’s limit is 500.
You might even buy webinars functionality as a add on to a more affordable plan: $40 per month buys you a 100 attendees limit, $99 per month buys you a 500 attendees limit. It isn’t clear what your choices are if you need to host bigger scale distributions than that however.

If you can get your head about it, and practice using it a bit, it will result in a helpful instrument – it is only that the execution of it could be somewhat better.
Also, as explained above, the CRM instrument might be far better from a usability point of view adding contacts to deals could be unnecessarily difficult.
The 30-day complimentary trial which Getresponse provides is completely operational and the free trial isn’t contingent upon supplying credit card information.
This makes it possible to avoid that annoying”oops I forgot I signed up for that trial and today I’m getting charged for a product I do not use” scenario.

At the database end of things, Getresponse’s pricing is really competitive too – you can host a database comprising 1,000 email addresses for $15 per month with Getresponse, compared to $29 with Aweber; $59 on Campaign Monitor (unlimited send).
Mailchimp’s monthly fee for a 1,000 record database will be exactly the same as Getresponse’s; and Mad Mimi supplies a marginally cheaper, if less operational offering for $12 a month.
Two final things to be Conscious of about the pricing front:
Some competing suppliers — especially Mailchimp – offer free account for users that have a small number of records (but these don’t supply the full assortment of features that you get on a paid program ).
