Additionally, you will find tons of templates to choose from — over 500 — and they are presented in easy-to-understand classes, so it’s generally pretty straightforward to locate a good beginning point to get a template and then edit it before you’re happy with the design.
If you are really not pleased with the templates offered by Getresponse, there is also the option of purchasing a template by a third party provider such as Theme Forest.
Another thing worth pointing out seeing Getresponse’s templates is that the assortment of RSS-to-email software options aren’t very extensive (just 11 templates are supplied – well short of the 700+ accessible for regular newsletters!) Landing page Builder

Additionally, and very importantly, you can’t use the landing page A/B testing performance on the cheapest Getresponse program (where the system shows a sample of your users different versions of your landing page, calculates conversion speeds, and finally rolls out the best performing landing page automatically).
If you’re serious about landing pages – plus they’re unquestionably a helpful feature – then it’s definitely worth considering among the more expensive Getresponse plans.
You can buy the Landing Pages feature as an add-on to get an extra $15 a month, but very frustratingly, even though the add-on permits you to show an infinite number of landing pages to potential subscribers, it does not include A/B testing.
Accordingly, if I was considering the Getresponse landing page functionality, I wouldn’t bother with this fairly half-baked add-on: I’d just go for one of the more expensive programs (which I guess is what Getresponse want you to do!) .
Getresponse was before its rivals for quite some time with its responsive email layout functionality, which automatically corrects your e-newsletter’s template so that when an individual is reading it on a mobile device, the layout and fonts will be optimized for the device in question.
Most competing products have caught up on this now, and offer responsive email templates, but Getresponse is better than many similar goods as soon as it comes to displaying a reactive preview of your e-newsletter – you simply hit on a’cellphone preview’ button for an instant snapshot of your email resembles on a smartphone (see image right).

Customer Relationship Management

An example of how to use this operation is as follows:
You can add a contact to a particular point on a revenue pipeline depending on the page of your site they finished a form on;
you could then send a automated email tailored to that pipeline stage a couple of days afterwards;
and dependent on the actions they took in regards to that email (clicking on a certain link ) you could automatically move them on another stage of the pipeline and automatically invite them into a webinar.
It is very clever stuff, and that I can not think of any email marketing product offering such a tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this type of functionality you normally must appear at committed — and more costly — CRM products such as Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
However, it’s not all good news about the CRM front — there are a few big things missing from Getresponse’s CRM feature set.
The most glaring omission is e mail activity tracking. Other CRM packages allow you to bcc a dropbox email address whenever you send an email to a lead or customer; doing so keeps a record of this communication in the contact’s history. There is currently no way of doing this together with the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an easy way to send one-to-one emails to prospects or clients.
And oddly, when you click a contact in a deal pipeline, you can not see their contact activity — i.e., the actions they’ve taken (open, clicks etc.) in regards to previous communications that you have sent to your prospects aren’t displayed. To see this, you have to go out of the CRM part of Getresponse, hunt for your own contact in the contacts section and then click in their details. But guess what? Doing so does not exhibit their history.
Task management is non-existent also: unlike committed CRM tools, there’s no way to assign tasks to other group members.
Finally, adding contacts into your pipeline stage is tough. You need to add contacts to a list , then go to the CRM pipeline, add a bargain and hunt your lists for the contact you just added. From a usability standpoint this is very clunky and time consuming. You should just have the ability to add a bargain right to a pipeline and enter the contact information of your guide or customer at that point.
So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is somewhat half-baked. However, it’s a new feature and the things it could do on the automation side is impressive. I’m hopeful that this attribute gets developed over time because done right, it’s possibly a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Getresponse recently introduced the ability to sponsor webinars on the stage.
Given that webinars are generally used as a lead-generation tactic, the notion of having your email database and your webinar tool under precisely the exact same roof is extremely appealing.

One place I feel that could be significantly better in the user-friendliness standpoint is the Getresponse e-newsletter editor.
Whilst its drag-and-drop approach does in theory provide a very flexible approach to make blocks of articles and move them around an e-newsletter, in practice it’s quite user friendly to use and may lead to accidental deletion of material, or placement of it at the wrong part of the e-newsletter.
If you’re able to get your head about it, and practice using it a bit, it will make for a useful tool – it is only that the implementation of it could be rather better.
Also, as described above, the CRM instrument might be far better from a usability point of view — adding contacts to deals can be unnecessarily difficult.
The 30-day complimentary trial that Getresponse supplies is completely functional and the free trial isn’t contingent upon providing credit card details.
This makes it possible to avoid that annoying”oops I forgot I signed up for that trial and now I’m getting charged for a commodity I don’t use” scenario.

The sole well-known service that I can think of that comes from significantly more affordable is Mad Mimi, which costs $42 a month to sponsor up to 10,000 email addresses (note however that the functionality provided by Mad Mimi is nowhere near as extensive as Getresponse’s or indeed another products mentioned above).
Additionally, it is worth pointing out that Mailchimp offers narrower pricing bands, meaning that based on how big your list, it may sometimes be a slightly cheaper option than Getresponse.
In the database end of things, Getresponse’s pricing is really competitive too – you can host a database comprising 1,000 email addresses for $15 a month with Getresponse, compared to $29 with Aweber; $59 on Campaign Monitor (unlimited send).
Mailchimp’s monthly fee for a 1,000 record database is the same as Getresponse’s; and Mad Mimi provides a marginally cheaper, if much less functional offering for $12 per month.
Two final things to be aware of about the pricing front:
Some competing suppliers — especially Mailchimp – provide free accounts for users with a small number of records (but these don’t offer the entire assortment of features that you get on a paid plan).
As stated earlier, if you are prepared to pay upfront for 1 or two years, you can avail of significant discounts the other competitors do not yet supply.
So the bottom line is that Getresponse is fairly competitive in the pricing section. But what about attributes? Responce Com
Getresponse represents one of the more cost-effective ways to host and speak using an email .
It’s also among the most intriguing products of its kind – in that it provides email marketing, landing pages, CRM and webinars all under a single roof. It’s hard to think of any rival product that delivers this’all round’ proposition, and it is what continues to persuade us to use it for Style Factory’s email marketing.
Some developments to Getresponse do have to be made however, particularly where the email designer is concerned – its drag and drop interface is more fiddly and less responsive than it should be. A good deal of improvements could be made to the data capture forms too, especially for users wishing to display them on mobile devices.
And from what I gather from reader opinions, there are improvements which could be made to the service offering.
Overall though I speed Getresponse very highly – you receive substantial bang for your buck with this item.
