Handling Your Clients

Unlike Segments, Groups are updated manually or via an Automation principle — which we’ll get into in a moment — and they don’t have any value aside from what you call them.
As you start to use this stage, you’ll begin to understand Where Segments and Groups are typically used, however, MailerLite delivers a hand in case you’re unsure:
Basically, groups are more of a Deliberate action on a per-subscriber basis, whereas Segments allow you to lump multiple contributors collectively according to a common denominator.
A tad confusing, I’ll admit… but I feel it is a fair trade-off For the added flexibility. In any case, they’re discretionary.
Finally, the’Fields’ tab is used to personalize your email copy.
You will notice that MailerLite has Already populated this area with their own areas, such as name, company, and nation.
If you want to create your own custom fields, you can do so by Clicking the’Add new field’ button.
So how do they actually work?
You can either upload a CSV record of your readers together with Your custom field data in separate columns… or may easily add these fields to a types which will only apply to prospective subscribers.

I will not go too much to the shape Things here since I have a whole section on this below, but this is the approach I would recommend if you wished to use this attribute.

Reporting & Analytics
Like many tools, you’ll find a summary of your campaign Data in the main dashboard.
Here you’ll see everything from effort open and click data, Subscriber growth, automation stats, and kind signups.
Clicking into any campaign will Give you specific coverage for this effort.
This is where you’ll discover some statistics such as Unsubscribes, spam complaints, bounces, reading surroundings, email client and much more.

Much like the rest of MailerLite, The automations interface is easy, clean and simple to navigate — something that certainly can not be said for every email advertising program.
After setting your trigger, you can begin adding steps to your workflow.
These steps could be anything from sending an email, adding a Postpone, a conditional split, or an action, like moving a subscriber or upgrading their records.
Here’s a simple workflow I set together, where subscribers Are unsubscribed if they don’t open my email within 7 days.
There are countless Possibilities when it comes to workflow automations similar to this, and MailerLite ought to not have any trouble with the huge majority of use cases.
Granted, it is not quite as Feature-rich as something such as ActiveCampaign since it lacks a number of the conditional elements. (Split, Go To, Goal, etc.)

While this process may seem like A grind on paper, it’s really much faster than what I’m utilized to with other email marketing tools — ActiveCampaign being a great example.

In Reality, I haven’t been able to locate anything that does exactly the same job, cheaper.
MailerLite is one of those very few email advertising tools to disrupt The (very crowded) industry in recent years, and that’s no simple feat.
While it is not as quickly as ConvertKit, or as feature-rich As ActiveCampaign, or as template-heavy as MailChimp, it performs exceptionally well at virtually anything you can throw at it.
I find MailerLite strikes the perfect balance Between flexibility, speed and simplicity, and all at a price point you’ll seriously struggle to beat.
