An example of how to use this functionality would be as follows:
You can add a contact to a particular stage on a revenue pipeline based on the page of your site that they finished a form on;
you can then send them a automated email tailored to that pipeline period a few days later;
and dependent on the actions they took in regards to this email (clicking on a certain link etc) you could automatically move them onto another phase of the pipeline and automatically invite them to a webinar.
It’s very clever stuff, and I can not think of any similar email advertising product offering this kind of tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this type of functionality you normally must appear at committed — and more expensive — CRM products like Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
