The CRM is currently integrated with all of Getresponse’s email marketing operation and you can add users into a CRM pipeline based on their activity (form completions, email opens, purchases etc.) or trigger autoresponders based on the accession of a new contact to a pipeline stage.
An example of how you could use this operation is as follows:
You can add a contact to a specific stage on a sales pipeline depending on the page of your website they completed a form on;
you can then send them a automated email tailored to that pipeline period a couple of days afterwards;
and dependent on the action they took with regard to this email (clicking on a particular link etc) you can automatically move them on another phase of the pipeline and automatically invite them to a webinar.

But, it is not all good news about the CRM front there are a few big things missing from Getresponse’s CRM feature set.
The most glaring omission is email activity tracking. Eventually, adding contacts to your pipeline stage is tough. You need to add contacts to a list , then visit the CRM pipeline, include a deal and search your lists to receive the contact you just added. From a usability standpoint this is extremely clunky and time consuming. You should just be able to put in a deal directly to a pipeline and then input the contact details of your guide or client at that point.
So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is somewhat half-baked. But that said, it’s a new feature and the stuff it can perform on the automation aspect is remarkable. I am hopeful that this feature becomes developed over time since done right, it’s possibly a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.

Also, as described above, the CRM instrument might be far better from a usability point of view — adding contacts to deals could be difficult.
The 30-day complimentary trial that Getresponse supplies is completely operational and the free trial isn’t contingent upon providing credit card details.
