Another thing worth pointing out seeing Getresponse’s templates is the assortment of RSS-to-email software options aren’t so extensive (just 11 templates are provided – well short of the 700+ accessible for regular newsletters!) If you’re serious about landing pages – and they’re certainly a helpful attribute – then it’s definitely worth looking at among the more expensive Getresponse plans.
You can purchase the Landing Pages attribute as an add-on to get an additional $15 per month, however very frustratingly, although the add-on permits you to show an infinite amount of landing pages to potential subscribers, it doesn’t consist of A/B testing.

And oddly, when you click a contact in a deal pipeline, you can not see their contact activity — i.e., the activities they have taken (open, clicks etc.) in regards to previous communications that you’ve sent to your leads aren’t displayed. To see this, you need to go out of the CRM part of Getresponse, hunt for your own contact in the contacts section and then click on their details. But guess what? Doing this does not display their history.
Task management is non-existent too: unlike committed CRM tools, there’s no way to assign tasks to other team members.
Finally, adding contacts into your pipeline stage is tough. You need to add contacts to a list first, then visit the CRM pipeline, include a bargain and hunt your lists to receive the contact you just added. From a usability point of view this is very clunky and time consuming. You should just have the ability to add a bargain right to a pipeline and then input the contact details of your guide or client at the point.
So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is somewhat half-baked. However, it’s a new feature and the things it could do on the automation aspect is impressive. I am hopeful that this attribute becomes developed over time since done right, it’s possibly a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Getresponse recently introduced the ability to host webinars on the platform.
Given that webinars are generally used as a lead-generation strategy, the notion of having your email database along with your webinar tool under the exact same roof is extremely appealing.

If you’re able to get your head around it, and practice using it a bit, it will make for a useful tool – it’s only that the execution of it might be somewhat better.
Also, as described above, the CRM tool might be far better from a usability point of view — adding contacts to deals can be difficult.
The 30-day free trial which Getresponse provides is fully functional and the free trial isn’t contingent upon providing credit card information.
This makes it possible to avoid that annoying”oops I forgot I signed up for that trial and today I am getting charged for a commodity I don’t use” scenario.
The only down side to the free trial is that it restricts the amount of subscribers you can send to 1000. It would be good if that could be increased a little, as it might help potential users try the tool out in more’real-world’ situations.
