Furthermore, you will find a lot of templates to choose from — around 500 — and they’re introduced in easy-to-understand categories, therefore it’s generally pretty simple to locate a good starting point to get a template and then edit it before you are happy with the plan.

Landing page Builder

An example of how you could use this functionality would be as follows:
It is possible to add a contact to a particular stage on a sales pipeline based on the page of your site that they finished a form on;
you can then send them a automated email tailored to this pipeline period a couple of days later;

The most glaring omission is email activity monitoring. Other CRM packages allow you to bcc a dropbox email address any time you send an email to some lead or client; doing so keeps a list of this communication from the contact’s history. There is now no way of doing this with the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an simple way to send one-to-one emails to prospects or customers.
And strangely, if you click a contact in a bargain pipeline, you can not see their contact action — i.e., the actions they’ve taken (open, clicks etc.) in regards to previous communications that you’ve sent to your leads aren’t displayed. Given that webinars are usually used as a lead-generation strategy, the notion of getting your email database along with your webinar tool under the same roof is extremely attractive.
The pricing is also very aggressive too by comparison to established webinar solutions. For example, one of the leading webinar providers, Gotowebinar, fees $199 per month to host webinars with up to 500 attendees; you can actually do exactly the same (plus a great deal more) with Getresponse for $165 (so long as your list size is below 25,000).

If you can get your head around it, and practice using it a bit, it will make for a useful tool – it’s just that the implementation of it might be rather better.
Additionally, as explained above, the CRM instrument could be far better from a usability point of view — adding contacts to deals can be difficult.
The 30-day free trial which Getresponse provides is fully functional and the free trial is not contingent upon providing credit card details.
This makes it possible to avoid that annoying”oops I forgot I signed up for that trial and today I am getting charged for a product that I don’t use” scenario.
