Introduction Email Marketing Template Themeforest
When I asked you to name an email Marketing instrument, what could you say? Email Marketing Template Themeforest
MailChimp? Aweber? ActiveCampaign?
Like many online industries today, email advertising continues to be Dominated by the same big players for the last ten years. Which means they get promoted very heavily and achieve a lot of mindshare.
Now and then, however, an Underdog disrupts the market, causing long-time users to question their loyalties.

Like most email marketing providers these days, you will need to Go through a review process before being able to correctly use the program.
When you first sign up, you’ll be asked to finish your profile.
This includes information such as your organization name, site, Industry, address, company size, record size and even the kind of material you intend to send.
Then, you need to confirm your Website (or domain name).
This is still part of this approval process, and MailerLite will Simply ask which email is related to this domain so they can email you a verification link.
Once you’ve completed these Steps, you ought to wait it out.
The MailerLite team will review your application, check your Website, and determine whether you are a good fit for their services.
(In other words, they’re making sure you are not a spammer/scammer)
As shown above, you’ll still be Able to use the software to make campaigns and play with the attributes, but you will not have the ability to send anything until approved.
I was”partially” approved within a few hours, which gave me a Temporary limitation of 500 subscribers.
Here’s what the email said:
But while these steps aren’t ideal for getting started, it Does help prevent unscrupulous users from hurting everyone else’s deliverability.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll rely upon automations to handle Nearly all your email advertising.
(We will get to automations shortly, do not worry.)
But if it’s a brand new blog article, podcast, or timely Announcement, there is always some excuse to send a more immediate email.
That’s where’Campaigns’ come in.
Clicking the new’Create Campaign’ will give you several choices.
– Regular effort: A Conventional broadcast email.
– A/B split effort: Multiple email Variations, such as subject line, from title and, yes, even email content. (Woop!)
– Auto resend: Resend to readers who Do not start your broadcast email, together with the choice of altering the subject line and email articles.
– RSS campaign: Create a recurring campaign That sends new content to subscribers using your website’s RSS feed.
Apart from a few added choices, most of these will follow Exactly the exact same step-by-step process of a normal campaign.
So let’s walk you through it.
As Soon as You click on to create your campaign, you’ll be requested to Select a favorite editor, whether that be the dragn’ drop, rich text or HTML.
Otherwise, you can switch to the Templates tab and choose from one of the pre-designed email templates — that will move you to the dragn’ drop editor .
At the time of writing, you’ll find 21 email templates to select From which is a little on the low side, however, the designs are super modern.
And, of course, if you would just Like to reuse a previous email, you can click on the’Recent Emails’ tab.
For this example, I will choose the first template from the library.
The editor is easy to use, Which makes customizing these templates a 5-minute job.
You can also use the cubes in the sidebar to add distinct Types of content to your email, including videos, product columns, and social connections.
After making your changes, just click’Done Editing’ and you will Be taken to the recipients’ choices where you can choose your groups or sections.
The advanced tab also allows you To build segment-like rules on-the-fly, in case your targeting is not quite perfect.
Finally, before sending, you’ll get into the’Schedule’ screen.
This is where you control if your broadcast email should go Out, if that is instantly, at a set time/date, or in accordance with your readers time zones.
Impressive, right? Email Marketing Template Themeforest
Managing Your Subscribers
Possessing granular control over your readers is arguably among The most important facets of any email marketing program now.
Because highly personalized campaigns Are Essential if You’re searching to increase opens, clicks, and, most importantly, your conversions.
And while most providers Permit You to”label” subscribers in order To target them more effectively, MailerLite utilizes a slightly different strategy.
When you open up your subscriber dashboard, you’ll see two Options; Segments and Groups.
Segments are basically principles.
Your readers belong to a segment only when they fulfill the Specified rules, and are automatically added or removed so.
Here is what establishing a rule looks like:
Notice how you can also combine Rules, as well as an alternate rule when the first doesn’t exist.
Pretty smart, eh?
The next tab is for groups, and despite the difference in name, These act much like your usual”tagging” system.
(MailerLite even debated Changing the title to’Tags’, but finally decided against it.)
Contrary to Segments, Groups are updated manually or via an Automation principle — which we will get to in a minute — and they don’t have any value aside from what you call them.
As you Begin to use this stage, you’ll Start to understand Where Segments and Groups are generally used, however, MailerLite offers a hand in the event you’re unsure:
Fundamentally, groups are much more of a Deliberate action on a per-subscriber basis, whereas Segments permit you to lump multiple subscribers together according to a frequent denominator.
Somewhat confusing, I’ll admit… but I believe it is a fair trade-off For the added flexibility. In any case, they are optional.
Last, the’Fields’ tab is used to customize your email copy.
You will notice that MailerLite has Already populated this area with their own areas, such as title, company, and country.
If You Would like to create your own custom fields, you can do this by Clicking the’Add new field’ button.
So how do they actually work?
You can either upload a CSV file of your readers along with Your custom field data in separate columns… or can simply add these fields to your types which will only apply to future readers.
Here’s a screenshot of a test field I made and added to a form:
I will not go too much into the shape Stuff here since I have a whole section on that below, but this is the approach I’d recommend if you wanted to use this attribute.
Again, once you’ve gathered your custom field data from new Readers, you can pull them into your email content and subject line.
Just click on the’Personalization’ drop down and choose your Custom field.
I’m barely scraping the surface Of what’s possible with custom fields, but it is important that you know this is a feature you may use.
Overall, it’s fair to say MailerLite has their subscriber Direction and personalization features on point. Email Marketing Template Themeforest
If you are not impressed with what you’ve seen up to Now, then perhaps The webpage builder will tickle your fancy.
After choosing’Landing Pages’ in the forms page, you’ll be Able to pick from 8 pre-designed templates.
Again, while the template selection Isn’t winning any awards, it will offer a great foundation to work from if, for example most people, you don’t have that pure eye for design.
I went ahead and selected the’Lead Generation’ template, though They finally do the identical task; collect an email address.
This time, the editor will give you 17 building blocks to Further construct or alter your landing page.
Now, I have used my fair share of Visual site builders, and this is already better than a few dedicated alternatives *Infection * WPBakery.
Along with the fundamental building blocks, you can use components like Hero segments, popup buttons, testimonials and countdown timers.
It will not be replacing landing Page builders such as Thrive Architect or LeadPagesanytime shortly, but credit where credit due, this thing over-delivers on all 3 kind types.
Form Builder Tool
Unlike some email marketing tools, MailerLite really Provides a Decent pair of form building tools.
Not only that, but you can also create popups and landing pages Through this same interface, so there is a lot to cover .
Let us begin with your Bog-standard embedded type.
These forms are first created inside MailerLite in order to get An embed code, which you can then place on your site to show it on particular pages.
Despite beginning super basic, the form designer allows you To customize everything from the kind style, subjects, background, name, input fields and, of course, the button.
Form text can also be edited directly, which gives you a chance To envision your own copy in real-time.
It would have been nice to have Some templates, but as you know, there is more to some form than just its physical appearance.
Clicking on the’Settings’ tab will Make It Possible for you to configure the way the Form works, including adding additional fields and setting a custom success page.
(There is even a GDPR compliance option. Sweet.)
And talking of the success page…
…MailerLite also enables you to customize the default message, Which will replace the embedded form and prevents users .
Last but surely not least, you Can check how your form screens on cellular by switching the toggle to responsive mode.
You won’t be able to make any layout changes here, but it makes Sense to check, nevertheless.
So that’s an Summary of this Embedded form but like I said before, you can even create popup forms in MailerLite.
While the majority of the installation process is identical, you will find A few differences I’d love to point out.
Unlike embedded forms, you can choose between a set of Templates:
While this isn’t the most Comprehensive selection, they do offer a good foundation to work from and the editor is just as simple to use for this form kind.
Clicking the’E-commerce’ template requires me into a preview Before moving to the editor.
Here, you’ll notice there are some new options under form types This time around:
Considering paid programs such as Thrive Leads exist for ribbons and slide-in forms, it is pretty impressive to observe this level of control over popup forms.
And, like before, you can play the styling options to get it Matched with your own branding.
Last, you can choose the close Behaviour of your type under the’Settings’ tab.
The default option is the X icon, but you can swap out this for A”No thanks” text choice, or have both.
That is really where most email Marketing platforms will render you, but MailerLite has yet another trick up its sleeve.
Reporting & Analytics
Like most tools, you’ll find a summary of your campaign Data in the main dashboard.
Here you’ll see everything from campaign open and click data, Subscriber growth, automation stats, and form signups.
Clicking into any campaign will Give you specific coverage for that campaign.
This is where you’ll find a few more advanced statistics such as Unsubscribes, spam complaints, bounces, reading environment, email client and more.
This should be plenty of Information for the average user…
…but if you really want To dig into the numbers, it is possible to click into individual areas of this report for a more detailed breakdown.
You can find some real gems under These reports.
For example, the’View Email’ tab also shows a click map, so It’s possible to see your subscribers interacted with your emails in relation to another.
Reports for automations are also Accessible under the’Automations’ tab, even though I found to be less insightful than effort reports.
Here’s a quick example:
Total, MailerLite does a Stellar job with their reporting port, and many will find the available data more than sufficient to fulfill their needs.
What is email marketing with no dash of automation?
For most reading this, MailerLite’s automation capabilities Could simply make or break this particular review.
The good news? If you have used a visual workflow builder, You will instantly feel at home here…
Much like the rest of MailerLite, The automations interface is simple, clean and simple to navigate — something that certainly can’t be said for each and every email advertising software.
After setting your trigger, you can begin adding steps to your workflow.
These measures can be anything from sending an email, adding a Postpone, a conditional split, or an action, like transferring a contributor or upgrading their records.
Here’s a simple workflow I set together, where readers Are unsubscribed if they do not open my email within seven days.
There are countless Possibilities in regards to workflow automations similar to this, and MailerLite ought to have no trouble with the vast majority of use cases.
Granted, it is not quite as Feature-rich as something like ActiveCampaign because it lacks a number of the conditional components. (Split, Visit, Goal, etc.. )
For example, there’s currently no automation for transferring Subscribers directly into another automation.
That being said, most of these actions can still be achieved by moving Subscribers into various groups that activate new automation workflows. It is just much less effective…. yet.
Another question of efficiency here is when generating new mails In the automation workflow builder.
After adding an email block to The workflow, you’ll be asked to add your subject line that appears on the block itself.
From there, clicking the’Design email’ button will fire up the Editor:
Now, you’ll be temporarily Redirected to the standard campaign creation wizard, which I covered previously in the critique.
This time, however, as Soon as You’ve created your email, clicking on the ‘Done editing’ button will guide you back into the automations workflow rather than the usual sending options.
Ultimately, your email address will probably be Loaded into your automation.
A Wonderful touch here is having a thumbnail preview of your Email inside your automation block, which means it’s possible to find an idea of what it contains at a glance.
While this procedure may seem like A grind on paper, it is actually much faster than what I am utilized to with other email marketing tools — ActiveCampaign being a fantastic example.
On the other hand, if you’ve come over from something such as ConvertKit where The editor is loaded inside the automations builder, you’ll likely find this a downgrade in functionality.
It’s fast enough for me, Personally, but I guess it’s all relative.
Before I wrap up this segment, there is 1 type of automation You will not find in MailerLite, and that I think that it’s important to highlight.
The ability to trigger an automation (or step) based on how Readers interact with the pages on your website.
This kind of behavioral targeting just is not accessible MailerLite right now, so if it’s something you use or intend to use, you might want to skip this one. Email Marketing Template Themeforest
The cost of MailerLite is no doubt one of those tools biggest Selling things, and let’s face it, we all love a fantastic deal.
For starters, they offer an infinite free plan that includes All features (including premium) for as many as 1,000 subscribers.
While there is some subtle Branding in your emails using this plan, it’s still an amazing alternative for those starting out.
And what about the premium programs?
It turns out, at approximately half of the Cost of this competition on average, MailerLite is by far among the least expensive options available on the industry. Plus, if you are ready to pay annually, you can also get a much greater discount.
In fact, I have not been able to locate anything that does exactly the same job, cheaper.
MailerLite is one of the email marketing tools The (very crowded) industry in the last couple of decades, and that’s no easy feat.
While it is not as fast as ConvertKit, or as feature-rich As ActiveCampaign, or as template-heavy as MailChimp, it performs exceptionally well at just about anything you can throw at it.
I find MailerLite strikes the best balance Between flexibility, speed and simplicity, and all at a price point you’ll seriously struggle to beat.
