and based on the action they took in regards to that email (clicking on a particular link ) you could automatically move them onto another phase of the pipeline and automatically invite them into a webinar.
It is very smart stuff, and I can’t think of any similar email marketing product offering such a tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this type of functionality you normally need to look at dedicated — and more costly — CRM products like Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
However, it’s not all fantastic news on the CRM front there are a few big things missing out of Getresponse’s CRM feature collection.
The most glaring omission is e mail activity tracking. Additional CRM packages allow you to bcc a dropbox email address whenever you send an email to a lead or customer; doing so keeps a list of this communication in the contact’s history. There is currently no way of doing so together with the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an simple way to send one-to-one emails to prospects or clients.

So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is a bit half-baked. However, it is a new attribute and the stuff it can perform on the automation aspect is remarkable. I’m hopeful that this attribute gets developed over time since done right, it’s potentially a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Getresponse recently introduced the ability to host webinars on the stage.
Given that webinars are generally utilized as a lead-generation strategy, the idea of having your email database along with your webinar tool under the same roof is very appealing.

Also, as described above, the CRM tool might be far better from a usability point of view adding contacts to deals can be unnecessarily difficult.
The 30-day free trial which Getresponse supplies is fully functional and the free trial isn’t contingent upon providing credit card details.
This makes it possible to avoid that annoying”oops I forgot I signed up for this particular trial and now I’m getting charged for a product that I don’t use” scenario.
The only down side to the free trial is the fact that it limits the number of subscribers you can send to to 1000. It would be good if this could be raised a bit, as it would help potential users try out the tool in more’real world’ scenarios.
