Furthermore, you will find tons of templates to choose from — around 500 — and they’re introduced in easy-to-understand categories, so it is generally pretty straightforward to locate a good starting point for a template and then edit it before you’re happy with the design.
If you are really not pleased with the templates offered by Getresponse, there is also the option of purchasing a template by a third party provider such as Theme Forest.
Another thing worth pointing out regarding Getresponse’s templates is that the range of RSS-to-email software options aren’t so extensive (only 11 templates are provided – well short of the 700+ accessible for regular newsletters!) The CRM is now integrated with all Getresponse’s email marketing operation and you can add users into a CRM pipeline according to their action (form completions, email opens, purchases etc.) or trigger autoresponders depending on the addition of a new contact to a pipeline stage.
An example of how you could use this operation would be as follows:
You can add a contact to a particular point on a revenue pipeline based on the page of your site they finished a form on;
you could then send a automated email tailored to this pipeline stage a couple of days afterwards;
and based on the actions they took in regards to this email (clicking on a certain link etc) you could automatically move them onto another stage of the pipeline and automatically invite them into a webinar.
It’s very clever stuff, and I can’t think of any similar email marketing product offering this kind of tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this kind of performance you normally need to appear at dedicated — and more expensive — CRM products like Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
But, it is not all good news on the CRM front — there are some big things missing out of Getresponse’s CRM feature set.
The most glaring omission is email activity tracking. Additional CRM packages permit you to bcc a dropbox email address any time you send an email to a lead or client; doing this keeps a record of the communication in the contact’s history. There’s now no method of doing this with all the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an simple way to send one-to-one mails to leads or clients.

So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is somewhat half-baked. But that said, it’s a new attribute and the things it could do on the automation side is impressive. I’m hopeful that this feature becomes developed over time since done right, it is possibly a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Getresponse recently introduced the ability to host webinars on the stage.
Given that webinars are generally utilized as a lead-generation strategy, the idea of having your email database along with your webinar tool under the same roof is extremely attractive.
The pricing is also very competitive too by comparison to established webinar solutions. The 30-day free trial that Getresponse supplies is completely functional and the free trial isn’t contingent upon supplying credit card details.
