you could then send a automated email tailored to that pipeline period a few days later;
and based on the actions they took with regard to this email (clicking on a certain link etc) you could automatically move them onto another stage of the pipeline and automatically invite them to a webinar.
It is very smart stuff, and I can not think of any email advertising product offering this kind of tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this kind of functionality you normally must appear at dedicated — and more expensive — CRM products like Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
But, it’s not all good news on the CRM front there are some big things missing from Getresponse’s CRM attribute collection.
The most glaring omission is email activity tracking. There is now no way of doing so with the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an easy way to send one-to-one emails to leads or customers.

If you’re able to get your head about it, and practice using it a little bit, it will result in a helpful tool – it is only that the implementation of it might be somewhat better.
Additionally, as described above, the CRM instrument might be better from a usability point of view — adding contacts to deals could be unnecessarily difficult.
