Up until very recently Getresponse support was one of the most comprehensive available for email marketing tools: the company offered phone support alongside live chat support, email support and various online tutorials / tools.
Sadly, the telephone support has now been discontinued. Instead you’ll need to use live chat (24/7) or email support. To be fair, many similar e-marketing platform providers only offer these two stations – if phone support is a deal-breaker for you you might want to consider Aweber, which still supplies it (you can read our Aweber review here).
In terms of the caliber of Getresponse service, I have never needed to use it very often (a good thing) but when I have I have discovered it for a bit of a mixed bag (less of a good thing). A number of those live chat service I have received has been excellent, and I have not had to wait too much time to talk to a broker; the email support .

Getresponse provides some very comprehensive reporting and analytics options. You get all the basics of track – open speed, click-through, unsubscribe Prices and so forth – but in addition to that you will find some very nifty features Which Are worth a particular mention, specifically:

But unless you are on a Getresponse’Guru’,’Max’ or’Enterprise’ program, the Getresponse landing page performance is fairly limited: you can just create 1 landing page, which can only be displayed 1,000 times per month.
Additionally, and above all, you can’t use the landing page A/B testing functionality on the least expensive Getresponse plan (where the system shows a sample of your customers different variations of your landing page, computes conversion speeds, and finally rolls out the best performing landing page mechanically ).
If you’re serious about landing pages – and they’re unquestionably a helpful feature – then it’s definitely worth considering one of the costlier Getresponse plans.
You can purchase the Landing Pages feature as an add-on for an extra $15 a month, however quite frustratingly, although the add-on allows you to display an unlimited amount of landing pages to potential subscribers, it doesn’t consist of A/B testing.
Therefore, if I was interested in the Getresponse landing page performance, I wouldn’t bother with this rather half-baked add-on: I’d just go for a few of the more expensive plans (which I guess is exactly what Getresponse want one to do!) .

When I saw Getresponse recently introducing a new CRM feature into their plans I was intrigued – that could possibly eliminate all that data exporting and importing, and keep everything neatly in 1 place.
Initially I was not that impressed with the Getresponse CRM tool since you can only use it to perform rather basic tasks: you could create sales pipelines, add contacts to these and monitor activity (mails, phone calls etc.) with these contacts manually.
But lately Getresponse have upped their video game somewhat on this particular front. The CRM is now integrated with all of Getresponse’s email marketing functionality and you can add users to a CRM pipeline based on their activity (form completions, email opens, purchases etc.) or activate autoresponders based on the accession of a new contact into a pipeline phase.
An example of how you could use this operation is as follows:
It is possible to add a contact to a particular stage on a sales pipeline based on the page of your site they finished a form on;
you can then send a automated email tailored to this pipeline stage a few days afterwards;

The most glaring omission is email activity monitoring. Other CRM packages allow you to bcc a dropbox email address any time you send an email to a lead or customer; doing this keeps a list of the communication from the contact’s history. There is currently no method of doing this together with the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an easy way to send one-to-one emails to prospects or customers.
And oddly, when you click a contact in a bargain pipeline, you can not see their contact action — i.e., the actions they have taken (open, clicks etc.) with regard to previous communications that you’ve sent to your leads aren’t displayed. To observe this, you need to go out of the CRM section of Getresponse, hunt for your own contact in the contacts section and click in their details. But guess what? Doing so doesn’t display their history.
Task management is non-existent too: Unlike dedicated CRM tools, there’s no way to assign tasks to other team members.
Finally, adding contacts to a pipeline stage is difficult. You need to add contacts to a list , then go to the CRM pipeline, add a bargain and hunt your lists to receive the contact you just added. From a usability standpoint this is extremely clunky and time consuming. You should just have the ability to put in a bargain right to a pipeline and input the contact details of your guide or client at that point.
So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is somewhat half-baked. However, it’s a new feature and the stuff it could perform on the automation aspect is remarkable. I’m hopeful that this attribute gets developed over time since done right, it is potentially a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Getresponse recently introduced the capability to sponsor webinars on the stage.

Furthermore, Getresponse really gives you the deliverability rate of every message in your email analytics – that is something that I haven’t encountered on competing goods’ metrics. A thumbs up for this.
I do have to pull Getresponse on one thing relating to deliverability however: to ensure a high deliverability speed, it’s a good idea to use a system called DKIM email authentication. You are able to use DKIM with Getresponse – but just on the more expensive Getresponse’Max’ programs.

You’re probably thinking that this sounds quite fine — but to tell the truth, I think there is a great deal of room for improvement with regard to Getresponse form templates.

This helps you avoid that annoying”oops I forgot I signed up for that trial and today I am getting charged for a product I don’t use” scenario.
