and based on the actions they took in regards to this email (clicking on a certain link etc) you can automatically move them on another stage of the pipeline and automatically invite them to a webinar.
It is very smart stuff, and that I can’t think of any similar email advertising product offering this kind of tight integration between autoresponders and CRM pipelines. For this kind of functionality you normally need to appear at committed — and more costly — CRM products such as Salesforce and Infusionsoft.
But, it is not all good news on the CRM front — there are some big things missing out of Getresponse’s CRM attribute collection.
The most glaring omission is e mail activity tracking. Other CRM packages permit you to bcc a dropbox email address whenever you send an email to some lead or client; doing this keeps a list of this communication from the contact’s history. There’s now no way of doing so with all the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an easy way to send one-to-one mails to prospects or clients.
And strangely, when you click a contact within a deal pipeline, you can’t see their contact activity — i.e., the activities they have taken (open, clicks etc.) in regards to previous communications that you’ve delivered to your leads are not displayed. To observe this, you have to go out of the CRM section of Getresponse, hunt for your own contact in the contacts section and click in their details. But guess what? Doing this doesn’t exhibit their deal history.
Task management is non-existent too: Unlike committed CRM tools, there’s no way to assign tasks to other team members.
Finally, adding contacts to your pipeline stage is tough. You need to add contacts to a list first, then visit the CRM pipeline, include a bargain and hunt your lists for the contact you just added.
