However, it is not all good news about the CRM front there are some big things missing out of Getresponse’s CRM attribute collection.
The most glaring omission is email activity monitoring. Other CRM packages allow you to bcc a dropbox email address any time you send an email to a lead or customer; doing so keeps a record of the communication from the contact’s history. There is now no way of doing so with all the Getresponse CRM, nor is there an easy way to send one-to-one mails to leads or clients.
And oddly, when you click on a contact in a deal pipeline, you can not see their contact action — i.e., the activities they’ve taken (open, clicks etc.) with regard to previous communications which you’ve delivered to your prospects aren’t displayed. To see this, you have to go from the CRM section of Getresponse, hunt for your own contact in the contacts section and then click on their details. But guess what? Doing so doesn’t exhibit their history.
Task management is non-existent too: unlike committed CRM tools, there’s no way to assign tasks to other team members.
Finally, adding contacts into your pipeline stage is difficult. You need to add contacts to a list , then visit the CRM pipeline, include a bargain and search your lists to receive the contact you just added. From a usability point of view this is very clunky and time consuming. You should just have the ability to put in a deal directly to a pipeline and then enter the contact information of your guide or client at the point.
So as things stand, the Getresponse CRM is a bit half-baked. But that said, it’s a new feature and the stuff it can perform on the automation aspect is remarkable. I’m optimistic that this attribute gets developed over time because done right, it’s possibly a game-changer for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
